Corrections Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

AOTV commits to quickly correcting any inaccurate information reported on its public pages. This page explains what we correct, how we verify it, how long it takes, and how the change is tracked. It complements our methodology and our editorial policy.

How to report an error

Reports go through the Contact page or the AOTV Discord. To speed things up, please include:

  • the exact URL of the page;
  • the sentence, number, or table in question, copied as is;
  • what you believe it should say instead;
  • if possible, a verifiable source (official Roobet page, legal document, dated screenshot, public transaction).

A report without a URL or specific detail may be dismissed: we don't change a page based on an impression.

What we check before correcting

Each report is checked against a primary source when one exists. In order, we rely on: the operator's official documentation or interface, AOTV internal data (leaderboards, tickets, recorded payouts), then observations made on stream. When no primary source is available, the information is reworded cautiously or removed rather than kept.

Editorial correction or external data change

We distinguish two categories, because timelines and responsibility differ:

  • Editorial correction — an error on our side: inaccurate wording, miscopied number, dead link, outdated page, undated information. It is fully AOTV's responsibility and is fixed directly in the content.
  • Changed external data — the operator changed a rule, tier, withdrawal condition, or geographic availability. The information wasn't wrong when published: we update the page and refresh its verification date.

Timelines

  • Acknowledgment within 5 business days.
  • Simple factual error (number, dead link, date, typo): fixed once verified, usually within a few days.
  • Items requiring an official source or a check of our own data: longer; the page stays as is until verification is complete.
  • Rejected report: we explain why rather than leaving it unanswered.

Traceability

Every corrected page has its update date refreshed at the top. Proof and leaderboard pages (Wager Race, Raffle, Milestones) rely on recorded data: a correction there means re-displaying the exact data, never rewriting a published result.

Major errors

A correction deemed major (e.g. legal information, bonus condition, cited financial figure, claim about a named person) is noted at the bottom of the page to keep a history of the change, rather than replaced silently.

What this policy doesn't cover

We don't correct differences of opinion, test ratings, or editorial choices: these fall under the editorial policy. We also can't correct content published on third-party platforms (Discord, Rumble) or decisions made by the operator on a player account.
